i did not like that class. In my family we all cooked from the time we could hold a spoon so I learned nothing except how to stand around waiting for an oven. :) But I know it was good for those who liked it and I’m glad you enjoyed it.

Sassy, English can be hard.  Nouns and verbs are the easy ones. Then it starts getting more complicated.

I recall home ec was taught early this century in Maryland public schools. I'm not sure these days.

Home ec was not my favorite class. I didn't think I'd need to

know how to prepare the fancy schmancy meals, or the proper way to set the table for a formal social occasion - and my teacher was very "Judge Judy" in her approach. I liked biology - we did drawings in that class such as a cross section image of the cell structure of a leaf...

I still battle with English. It is a hard subject to grasp in its entirety.

Good Morning

This was not my favorite class.  I remember we had to make white sauce and mine turned into I don't know what.  It was a mess.  To this day thinking about white sauce upsets me.  My favorite class was English all the way through school.
