Kabu, I'm thinking the same thing! I'm a little worried that Sgt. Mulberry is too hard on them. I'm going to play this by ear for a few days and if I don't like the way things are going I'm going to give Sgt. Mulberry his walking papers. I know I've spoiled my gnomes over the years and I can't help but think that this is just too hard on them. They are used to sleeping in on cold mornings and they have their tv time and always big meals. I'm pretty sure they've already learned a few lessons over the last couple of days.

Oh dear I think this drill seargent is too tough on them . I think I would probably fire him soon. Gnomes live on for hundreds of years I know, so some of your guys may be older than they look. but then I am an old softy.

Once on the Parade ground, I mistook the sergeant's voice for left when he said right.

I hope none of your boys ever do that. In the early wars, a lot of soldiers from the villages had received little schooling. Most did not understand left or right so the drill sergeants would shout hay or corn.

Pat, I'd never survive a drill sergeant. The first time he yelled at me we'd have a problem.

I might just go on sick call. Of course that only delays the aggravation.
