Re: It takes a lot of skill and experience to grow beautiful flowers, but

Thankyou pat. I always had a love of growing flowers. Sometimes one variety would be of greater interest, now I grow mainly for cutting. It is a bit of fun doing the ten-minute ones, as long as it lasts.

Re: Kabu

You will be OK you do have quite a lot of perennials little stalks that will soon be hidden as new growth pushes towards the light.

Re: Sea_Gypsy

Well S.G. I did have a bad toe and I could not walk much. I try to do some of the exercises on U Tube. I did have a dizzy spell today, wonder if the jab was settling in.

Re: shamasehar

Thank you, I do it because it has been so messy outside and since the virus, so many folks are walking dogs.

Touching poem, CCT! How can we just rid ourselves of favorite flowers, whatever the reason? They are living things, and yes, they come with memories....

You did a great job.  I dare not set a time limit for myself.  I've always been quite slow at any kind of writing.

I try to stay moving all day as much as possible. Good for you. And I really enjoyed your Fuschia poem, especially the last line.

As you know I only grow flowers here. The Snow is melting and the garden looks bedraggled. half snow with dead stalks crying to the sky. it will be a little while before we see some green here

I love flowers swaying in the breeze with their delicate petals glistening in the morning dew.

It takes a lot of skill and experience to grow beautiful flowers, but

even more to compose poetry that explains the how and why with internal and end rhymes. Wow!   As for the extra minute on the first one: worth it.

They are worth the trouble with their pretty pink hues.
