- Go to Women Belong In the Kitchen
Chefs have been predominantly men historically - probably because all of the women weren’t available since they were home cooking for everyone else. Lol. Burger King muffed this one. I like to cook but don’t want to be married to the kitchen sink and dishwasher!

My Mother was expected to spend her life in the kitchen ....she was outside in her garden or doing something with animals everychance she got. Yes she was a superb cook but she felt shackled in the kitchen. I am like her. I do what I have to do and I am clean and neat but it isn't what I want to be doing. My Nursing years were my love.

Talk about a big oops. I wonder how that got past the ad agency.

Sure, the kitchen, the boardroom, the science lab, NASA...
any work or trade they're interested in learning and doing.

Re: Good Morning
In the military the meals are basic nutrition. Based on what little I know from having brothers & cousins in service, the experience would prepare you for a cook's job in a diner, but nothing much about presentation, use of gourmet techniques or seasonings.

Good Morning
Oh my! Sometimes Ads backfire and it looks like that's what happened with Burger King. I love being in the kitchen but sometimes I do like to have a meal away from home. I've always thought being a chef would be the best career ever.
If I was in the service I would want to prepare food for the enlisted men. It's just me though. That brings to mind another question. I wonder if you prepare meals when you are in the service would that make it easier to get a job in a nice restaurant when you got out? I know the service has educational opportunities and I wonder if food preparation would be a class?
