We have unmarked cars in our area but I would certainly hope they were wearing a badge when they stop people.  The world is too crazy to trust anyone at this point. There have been cases when someone is impersonating an officer. That is scary!

We have several unmarked police cars in our area. I expect that some may question the officer if he stopped them under suspicious circumstances, but most would comply to his orders so long as his badge can clearly be seen by the driver.
