There is no sign of Daffodils or Tulips in my yard even though I planted the bulbs a few years ago in September.

Re:Pat

I guess you are right Pat, it must have been uncomfortable to wear a chastity belt. I think I read that this mild weather is caused by a warm airstream which drives the cold air your way.

Re: Kabu

Yes, Kabu when one thinks that The Thames once froze over in winter. It is a bit on the wild side.

Re: Goldiec

I think we may be in for a shock later. The old saying  If May comes early or May come late, it will always make the old cows quake.

The gas company might think a gas leak. They marjed the border with little yellow flags. The poet Amy Lowell (1884-1925) wrote a poem about early daffodils sir. The snow protects the young spears. I saw a group today in a thaw.

I'm not sure about Global warming.  It might just be that the daffodils wanted to come out to play.

Tulips flowering in Feruary doesn't make much sense The English climate is really topsy turvey these years. My Bulbs are hidden under at least three feet of Snow.

As for the soulmate idea - I can see the odds are stacked against that

proposition, but you never know what's lurking behind some steel vest.

Nary a sign of a daffodil, my tulips are not poking their tips out of the

soil. There's going to be more winter here in middle America. But just thinking about them makes me smile...
