You can never go wrong with salad greens when trimming down the figure.

Re: sassyass,
I use salad greens a lot when I am carb-watching. Not only as salad, but also instead of rice or other starches to make a bedding for main dishes.

Re: Goldiec,
I go to an Asian Pacific market here in town, and they have all kinds of things unusual and mysterious to the American palate. I first tasted the pickled radish in sushi. It is made from the long, white daikon radish which is not as bitey as red radishes, and also I hear it is good for heart health. I think the pickle is made with rice wine vinegar and some sweetener.

Re: Goldiec,
That sounds like a good comfort-meal! How did you do the chicken?

Oh yum. That is a great lunch. It also happens to be my favorite meal as well.

Ciel, where did you get Chinese pickled radish bits? I'm not familiar with them but I do love radishes.

Good Morning
Ciel, your food sounds delicious! For dinner last evening we had chicken with leftover macaroni salad and a mix of cauliflower and broccoli. It was very good. Today it will be chuck roast for dinner. I have it thawing on the kitchen table until I'm ready to cook it. For lunch, if we have leftovers that's what we usually eat.
