We are all different. Support can be in many different forms. Some of us don't need it. Some need and don't get it. Some are lucky enough to get it when they need it.

My parents have been dead for nearly 30 years, yet there are many times I feel the need for them.

I think children always need our support.  I know we are always here for our children and grandchildren too.

I do not believe one is ever too old for that support.

Re: Once a parent, always a parent.

Parents and siblings are all in theirs together.

Once a parent, always a parent.

Our three daughters are 38, 32, and 30. They are all three dependent young women who work, but they need our help from time to time, and I am thankful to still be here to help them out. I have also taken note that they have no problem helping me out when I need it.

Sometimes it is nice to have support from anyone.
