Thank you Kabu. In a way, it is a job to realize the loss when it happens like this.
His wife is on her own she is not able to walk much, but I phone her each day and she is the same I think he was away a month and it is a job to realize it has happened.

Your cat along with what must now be a treasured gift. I am so terribly sad about this terrible event and the consequence of losing your brother so quickly and not being able to say a good bye properly. Hugs; lots of little sister hugs.
