Re: Re: Thank you.
Trial and error have a lot to do with it. I had already commented on your blog post about not needing flowers for Valentine's Day, but I guess that I still do when the moment arises. My hubby sneak attacked me yesterday after work by surprising me with a bouquet of beautiful flowers. It was a really sweet surprise.

BearCat, you said it right! Sounds like you've had some exciting Valentine's Days: "...girlfriends, significant others and wifes." :) Seriously, a great post.

Great Post. I will try to get a card and sweets to my husband even though we are in lock down.

Sage advice
Being married for 35 years, Valentine's Day is not overlooked in our house, but it goes both ways. We usually have a nice dinner, watch a romantic comedy, and then exchange gifts. We stick to the tiniest chocolate-filled candy heart that we can find, and we buy each other the number of scratch tickets to match the number of years together that we are celebrating. We toast to a glass of wine and sip it as we scratch our tickets together. This year will be 35 each. We have bought flowers in the past, but it is not something that is required. The quality time spent together is the best part.
