I pay a fortune each winter. The drive way is long and someone comes and ploughs the snow with a vehicle.

That day was declared an emergency. We were not allowed to drive off of the hill. They shoveled most of Charleroi. John told me that he also used to pick blackberries as a kid and sell them to the women in Newell so that they could make pies and jam.

Sassy, my boys always made good money shoveling snow for the neighbors. John and Jennifer must have been tired as could be after a long day of shoveling.

My hubby and our oldest daughter used to shovel snow in Charleroi back in the early 90s every winter, but during the blizzard of 93, they made $600 from shoveling all day. They still talk about it to this day.
