Not sure just when we will get vaccines up here. Wiley was to get his first shot this week in the nursing home but there are delays.

A bit worrying that vaccine that has to be kept at a low temperature. We have had the same one. I suppose it is good news that it can be duplicated.

Pat, thank goodness you decided to stay in your home. I feel so bad for the senior citizens living through this pandemic. It is a nightmare! It's one of the worst horror stories I could think of.

Sassy, your dinner sounds so good! John is going to be so happy when he gets home! I absolutely love guacamole. I used a lot of seasonings in my sauce. One of the seasonings I've added this year was Italian seasoning. It tastes so good. I'm not sure if I want to stay home and eat my dinner or come to your house and have some of yours. These meals are perfect on cold winter days.

A year or so ago I told my kids I was thinking of moving out of my house
and into a senior living place here in town - partly so they wouldn't have to look after me if I needed help. They pitched a fit, stamped their pretty little feet and insisted I never even think about that again - they've all got room at their houses, it seems. And then came Covid and the isolation of all residents of assisted living & skilled nursing senior centers - and I am dancing on air because I didn't actually sign up for what has turned out to be hell on earth.

Good morning! I can smell your house from Pittsburgh.
Yummers! John requested nachos with pulled beef and all of the toppings. I am slow cooking a chuck roast that has been dry rubbed with my seasoning blend of cumin, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, and oregano. I plan to serve it on tortilla chips topped with cheese, and a few sides that include guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream, lettuce, and green onions.
