Aba Brother - Thank you so much! A great post.
This is an especially good story/lesson. It reminds me of many of the old Italian tales and life lessons I was taught as a child. I love it. The double entendre is especially charming. Who indeed wants to argue with an ass? What good will it do to win or loose? When one is secure and confident in oneself, one need not argue the point, whatever it is. I read of a study of gifted individuals. It seems at least some have no need to show off or display arrogance or condescending attitudes. They simply ARE - and they are often understated, friendly and generally nice people.

perfect. Some fights no matter what you cannot win. Best to just avoid. Walk away and you may even be able to stay friends.
