Re:

Annicita, until yesterday I didn't know about compound butter but I saw it on a Food Network show and decided to make it. Soften butter and mix in whatever seasonings you like.  I made mine with Italian seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, and celery seed and I also added paprika and just a touch of seasoned salt. I also added black pepper because I love it.  It turned out really good and we bought french bread this morning and I'm going to put my compound butter on the french bread and bake it in the oven.  I know it's going to be delicious.  I love when I find new ways to make things.  I think you can use compound butter in whatever you like.  I may even try it on mixed vegetables.

Re:

Kabu, I'm so thankful you are staying home where you are safe and warm.  I know Mr. Graysome does not like to be cold!

Re:

Taps, my butter is soft on the counter so after Roy and I watch one of our shows I'm going to make some. I think it will be good.

Re:

FSI, I'm so ready for spring.  It's freezing here and the sun is not warming it up.

Re:

C_C_T, when there's frost it's cold.  I think between the winter weather and the COVID people want to get outside.  It's not safe though unless you follow the guidelines.

Re: Goldiec

BC-A, it's so cold I don't want to venture outside.  Your employee appreciation Day sounds like fun.  Raffles are always fun.

I like compound butters to spread on things.  I've tried a lot of different ones.

Frost here but sunshine followed so muddy everywhere. I noticed farmers were grumbling folk seeking exercise are tramping crops as the small walk through is usually churned up by over use.

Goldiec

The same here, going up to 31, with the darn wind chill factor - cereal for breakfast. I could go to empliyee appreciation day. Because of COVID-19, the food won't be served in a buffet. It's wrapped, with games and raffles.

Re: Re: Re: Me too.

Sassy, good luck on house-hunting.  I hope you find the perfect house.  Just be careful because you never know what's lurking around the corner.
