I really do believe that he met with foul play on the night that he died, and now may he rest in eternal peace.

On my way home to Delaware, I usually stop by his grave to say hello. We visited his home a few years ago. Poe was a very small man according to his bed size, wrap-around stairs, and his boots.

Poe was a major influence on the mystery genre of writing. There used to be someone who would come and toast him every year, the Poe Toaster, he was called.

Sassy, great article! I wonder why he didn't go into the light and instead chose to stay behind for all eternity? I think he may have been a tortured soul. I'm not sure why though.
