She was a brave little girl. It must be a trying time for you when incidents like this happen. Stay safe.

Re:
BC-A, I would call the police too if something felt wrong in or around the house.

I've called the police to check the house, when a light was on, when my landlady was away.

Re:
Kabu, I was very impressed with the way the girl took charge of the situation and called for help. When something bad happens a plan is so important.

Re:
FSI, when I heard the story on the news I was very thankful that the girl and baby were safe. I cannot imagine how scared she was but it's a good thing she did what she had to do in a terrible situation.

A home invasion is one of those things that seems like it doesn't happen here so to speak. Very close to home. I'm glad the girl and baby made out okay.

Re:
Taps, in Ohio the Governor says we don't have enough vaccines but slowly we should be getting everyone vaccinated. We mostly stay in too.

Pat, I agree with you. I hope they can turn the economy around before it's too late.

I am on pins and needles too when regarding tomorrow.
As for your local news. That poor kid. Luckily for her, she was smart enough to hide. What a scary situation to be in. Thankfully, they captured the bad guy. It isn't too chilly here, and since it is John's day off, we are headed to look at some more houses for sale. Wish us luck. This is really overwhelming.

I'm plenty old enough to get the vaccine now, but I haven't figured out how to go about doing it, so I mostly just stay in.

There's no shortage of alarms and stressers in this world. The news
is full of incidents of carjackings, purse snatchings and other crimes of opportunity, where people have fallen into poverty because of the pandemic and layoffs from jobs. For some it's so shameful to take charity they resort to thievery. I hope we can stop the pandemic and get the economy going before it's too late.
