Being an adult certainly has its ups and downs.

I'm a mom of 3, living with a disabled fiance. I work in the medical field, one of my children is severely special needs and yet we've come so far to learn who we are and what's best for us.  Our world is changing. Politics are taking new roles, we need to look closely at what's happening in our homes much more than before when times followed a signs. Remember to be strong, caring and kind and on days that you feel the most tired, I hope that you take time to stop, rest and recoup.

Life is a daily learning process. How much we learn is up to us.

I suffered severe anxiety attacks and mild depression for so much of my life until I was seen by a special dr. who diagnosed me with a Seotonan disorder not just in my head but throughout my body. I was probably born this way. I take medication every morning and now live a much more peaceful and happy life. I am not happy to have to take medications for the rest of my life but I am Happy and calm.

With any luck, you'll still be learning more about who you are well

into your 80s. We evolve. We overcome social anxieties as we discover everybody has 'em. We learn to value others because they all - especially our children - have a lot to teach us, and it's a joy to learn they also cherish us.  You strike me as a grown person, and very aware - "woke." This is a good thing, as Martha Stewart says.

I feel much the same way as you do about the listed topics.

I really do hate politics and discussions surrounding them. It never fails to end in a heated debate. As for being tired, I hope that you can get some much-needed rest and relaxation.

Oh my!  I truly wish you the best.  I'm not sure why you aren't sleeping good but maybe you need a check-up.  The world is such a hard place right now that it's hard to tread water in a sea of despair.
