Your daughter shares a birthday with one of my favorite Food Network stars. The Pioneer Woman's birthday is January 6th too.

Kabu, thank you so much for your comment. I feel the same as you. I love celebrating the kids birthdays. I of course was there the day they were born and I always smile thinking of the memories of those fateful days. I was also there when all my grandchildren were born and I got to cut the cord each time. It was amazing. Every birthday since my grandchildren were born I let them pick the cake they want and I make it for them. They really get excited about their birthday cakes.

Happy birthday to your daughter and I am sure the tasty meal will be delicious. I have always felt that I shared the birthdays of my two sons are my day as well.

Annicita, thanks for the tips. I've never tried avocado oil. I usually use olive oil. It's the only oil I keep in the house. I think I should eat more yogurt. I've given up all sugar substitutes and I do have agave in the pantry. I've thought about using vegetable broth. Right now I only have beef broth and chicken broth.

I use vegetable broth instead of beef or chicken. I use coconut or olive oil instead of vegetable oil. I haven't tried out the avocado oil that I bought yet. I try to eat probiotic yogurt instead of regular and I don't use any sugar substitutes except agave. When I make banana or pumpkin bread I add more of them and less sugar. This results in a more dense and healthier version.

I hope you and your daughter enjoy a nice day love (Roy, it's my spiel, reading my poems). For lunch, I'm having a creamy ranch salad of cole (cabbage) crops, bacon bits, dried yellow corn kernels, soy nuts, and croutons, with takeout of spaghetti with meatsauce and chicken parmesan, maybe chicken noodle soup there. It's sunny, clear now, only 40, with wind. I saw out the window earlier a pink- amber dawn.
