I do believe he must have been born on my property dear friend.LOL...I love the birds and little animals and the big animals as well and we get those up here.

I love bird-watching & feeding them. Through the years we have had a variety of woodpeckers because we have woods on three sides of our complex. Yours is a very special one.

Your woodpecker is awesome! We have a variegated redheaded woodpecker. They are very big. I wish you could hear him when he's hammering on the trees. We have a hawk that is killing our birds. He is not nice. He carried off a squirrel this past summer.
