Sassy, Happy New Year's to you and John and the family! We wish you the best. Your food sounds delicious. We never celebrate on New Year's Eve and because of the COVID most places are shut down but that's okay because we wouldn't be going anyway. We love being home on cold winter nights. Stay warm and be safe!

The dead battery incident happened to me too after running the car too long
It is just too cold to do most things other than hang out by the heater vent. I plan to make my bean & ham soup tomorrow, and tonight we are having kielbasa and sauerkraut. We have all of the bases covered. John worked Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and he just got home from working today and he has to go in at 3:00 in the morning, so no partying for us this New Year's Eve or Day. We are thankful to still be employed, so no complaints.
