Since I am so old now (83), I started out with really, really low minimum wage back then. I always appreciated any and all raises, probably moreso than the way it is done now. But, I do not begrudge anyone I higher minimum wage if they work hard and earn it.

Re: Yes, I believe that is the ultimate plan.
I remember starting out on minimum wage and getting pay raises as I earned them throughout the various stages of my employment with the company. You cannot expect to walk into a corporation, earning a big wage unless you bring something to the table like experience or a degree.

I look at minimum wage jobs as being stepping stone jobs, too. To me, it's going to lead to more automation, which in turn will lead to Socialism.
