Re: Aba Brother
The ancient Hindus were mother worshippers. Sadly, the present-day people are just their opposites.and fail to give honour to women. That's why we Indians now are on a cultural downslide. Goddess Durga (Shakti - strength); Ma Kali - destroyer of Evil); Ma Lakshmi - wealth); Ma Saraswati - goddess of know.edge. So you see all the important portfolios were held by the Feminine

Aba Brother
This is truly beautifully stated. I am certain we who do not speak or understand Sanskrit can fully grasp the beauty of the gratitude to the Mother/Goddess, the feminine but you have helped us to do so admirably. It is more than just the feminine touch to a home here, it is the embodiment of the life-giving mother/goddess figure that begins and completes a life in total, perhaps. And to be inclusive, that is not to say at all that that spirit is absent in the homes of gay men.

I really think a woman's touch does add to the warmth of a home. It may be candles, it may be freshly baked bread, or possibly her smile when you walk through the door.

A great tribute.Her presence is felt because she "belongs"to a home ( body& soul) even though the house may not "belong" to her.स्त्री के समर्पण की खुशबू घर में फ़ैल जाती है...

Re: Kabu
You can tell "There's a women living here now".
I can understand this from my own clumsiness.

Re: A woman's touch can make a really big difference to a home.
Quite so. That is because women are placed between men and God.

Wiley had been a widower living on his own for some years when I flew to Canada to meet him. After some time together two of his daughters visited and I heard them say, " You can tell there is a woman living here now." I had not thought I had done much but obviously it is The touches that count.
