A good landlord is hard to find.

That man who called in was funny. Good to have a nice landlord. As for kitchen cleaning, a little atca time. Stay warm.

The house we live in is a ranch and I've always said we don't have enough room but we love it.  It keeps us warm in the winter and cool in the summer.  It's an older house and last year we updated the electricity and had our outside lines put underground.  We have a lot of storms around here and hopefully, the underground lines will be good if we have another tornado.  Your Landlord sounds like a gem.  They are not all like that.  I'm glad you have a good one.

I hate moving. Hate it so much that I stayed in a bad marriage for a year

longer than I should have. Only after I'd upped and moved my treasures, including books, the ruby bowl and my typewriter, did it occur to me that HE should have been the one to move. Lesson learned.

The thought of moving causes anxiety.

I have settled well into my home. It has a few things that need to be updated, but for the most part, I love the familiarity of it, the utilities are low, and my yard has finally evolved into a miniature "Garden of Eden." A few of my outlets have the same issue as yours does, but my home was built in 1910, so I was prepared for a few outdated situations. Over time we will fix all of those annoying issues when they rear their ugly heads.
