Re:
Sea Gypsy, people waiting for hours to see a doctor is just not acceptable. Before COVID I could get in to get my tests in a week but this year I had to wait a month. I'm glad it's over.

Good for you getting the mammo done. Here, they say oeoplecare waiting for hours on gurneys outside of hospitals to be seen at the ER. It’s not a pleasant thought.

Re: I like the kind of be-bop shopping you describe on warm sunny days.
Pat, it was nice to get out of the house but it was so cold. When we came out of Sam's club it was freezing with sleet hitting us in the face. I'm glad to be back home where we are warm.

Re:
Ciel, thank you so much. We were back home very early. I will be glad when life gets back to normal for all of us. It's freezing here with lots of snow so we will be in the house for the rest of the day and night.

Re: Goldiec
BC-A, be careful when you are shoveling. What happened to your toes? Stay warm!

I would not enjoy being out in the cold with slick snow underfoot. It would have to be a dire emergency for me to go out in that. I hope you had fun, though.

Those days of going out and about give both the feeling of accomplishment, and the exhaustion of so much focused activity! Stay warm, stay well!

I shoveled a path from my door to the driveway gate. up to the maid's snow shoveling. After work, I walked to the bus stop on sidewalks not blown, shoveled, and salted. I needed to then walk on the road at night, and two other guys helped me on the bus. Amputated second right toe and big toes shortened. The bus driver chose a spot to leave off me. Slept eight hours.
