It's good to have Dad available for those really deep snows.

I don't like to shovel so I know how you feel. Roy has a John Deere with a plow on it. He always does the drive. It's a long driveway so thank goodness we do have the plow!

The first year I was married we had eight inches of snow just after my new hubby had to be away for two weeks in the US Navy. I shovelled the walk from our front door out to the street and then the public sidewalk in front of the house. I sure was glad to be through. I don't remember ever having to shovel snow again. With husband and four sons I stuck to the kitchen baking bread and making fudge, etc.

I first have to laugh at your admission.
It is not a favorite activity for me either. My hubby loves shoveling snow, so I leave him to it even though I have heard that it can cause a heart attack due to the physical exertion. Having a snowplow attached to his truck is beneficial. Around here, those guys charge upwards of $200 to plow out a parking lot. You guys could be raking in extra Christmas funds as a side job.
