Sassy, Wow!  Thanks for sharing this post.  This is a wonderful post about Christmas. It goes to show that even in war miracles can happen.  For some reason, this reminds me of a story I wrote.  The title was "Surviving World War 3".  It was actually a romance but by the time everyone was done sending me nasty emails I decided to change the Title.  I couldn't take the negativity.
