I wasn't going to this year but I think I will, now that some people have sent them to me.

Yes I pull out an old box with addresses and try and buy cards from charities.

I still do. It makes the Christmas Season more fun for me.

I used to do it. Then cards and postage became expensive.

Re: Re: Me too. I mailed my mother's birthday card out on December 8th.

Sassy, Oh my!  I hope your Mom gets her birthday card.  What day is her birthday?  They said on the news that there are trailers lined up downtown with mail in them.  I'm not sure what the problem is. I was just telling Roy yesterday that for months now we don't get our coupons in the mail.  We used to get them but it almost seems like someone is taking them before they get to us.  I know that's a funny thought but I'm not sure what to think.  I'm sorry about your cards being stolen.  That really is sad.  I guess it's a sign of the times.

Re: Me too. I mailed my mother's birthday card out on December 8th.

She still hasn't received it even though the USPS said that it would arrive in Carson City on Saturday, December 12th. I can only hope that it didn't meet with foul play. We have had a Father's Day card, birthday card, and one wedding card stolen. Since then, we mail all cards with gift cards enclosed in padded envelopes, but "tis the season to be steaing."

I still mail Christmas cards.  I just hope the Post Office delivers them this year!
