Kabu, thank you so much for the comment. I miss my life when I didn't have to think about the pandemic. At Christmas, I always made cookies in a big container and everyone would just reach in and get cookies. This year I can't do that. Our lives have sure changed this year. I'll be glad when you can go out again!

The vaccine should be avaliable for a few people here in Canada at the end of December. I have no idea when I can get my shots but I am in the elderly group and I am tired of having to be at home virtually all the time.

Pat, I do agree with you. After the hot summer, I'm having trouble with the freezing temps this year. I do love snow but I prefer to be warm.

If it were not to be a disappointment for the children and all those
who are children at heart, I could do without the snow on Christmas. Slips and falls are not the gift I'm looking for this year. Enjoy your twinkles and bright scenes.

Sassy, We had snow on the ground this morning and I'm not looking forward to snow coming our way. The last storm was so bad it broke some of our trees. This has been a strange year.

We used to have lights that blinked to music. It is freezing here too. We are showing an 80% chance of snow on Wednesday, and a 30% chance on Thursday. From there we go back up into the 40s. It is a strange year with even stranger weather. Have fun with your decorations. Stay warm, and be safe!
