It is horrific. And somehow Christmas is what the year really builds up to so that to be laid off is terrible. Please let this mess become sorted out sooner rather than later.

Sassy, Oh my!  I'm so sorry to hear this!  Did they manage to get through to file a claim with unemployment?

Re: Hopefully, by February every one will be back to work.

For now, we just have to wear our masks, wash our hands, and remain at a distance when possible.

That's what happened in Baltimore City and Anne Arundel County. So sad.

Applying for unemployment isn't as easy as it sounds either. It takes time to get through to an agent, and then more time to receive your first check. Hopefully, we will all be back on track come February when the vaccine should make a full circle.

The other day, the homeless laid off restaurant worker passed me, dressed alright. He didn't panhandle. He says "Hi Will." A week earlier, he did the same, riding a bicycle.  Did he find work? I'll see.
