Some people are really private that way.

That is sad. He may have been embarrassed to tell his story. Some minstrels are forever running from the past that haunts them. A new town with new people leaves an open gateway to start over.

The "word on the street" about Wally was that he was homeless, and had found someone here in town to shelter him, but we never knew who. There was also some speculation that he was on the run and laying low, wanted to leave no record of his presence anywhere.

I have to say they were two very talented men.  I wonder if they ever knew just how good they were.  Thanks for sharing your memory from the past. We encounter many people along our path in life.  I think some are more memorable than others.
