I used to pronounce venue as va new. It happens to all of us.
The English language is one of the worst to learn, especially when you ask foreigners. I mean, we have so many various homophones that sound the same, yet they have totally different meanings. Ate, eight, sell, cell, do, due, dew, red, read, and then the homonym: bat, bat, etc...

The toughest words for me to pronounce are Diocesan and Jesuit, the latter of which is tricky because I went to a Jesuit college.

Alright, it encourages my private investigator, with a speech impediment. Comic Norm Crosby, who recently passed, used an impediment in his standup routine.
