Welcome back. I am better now, CC - packed a few crocheted hats and some candy canes to send to the grandkids, watched a beautiful sunrise, decided its a good day to be thankful after all. I hope you're feeling much better.

You could stand in front of your bathroom mirror and practice smiling/grinning at yourself. I do that, LOL, and it gets me in a better mood.

Oh, Sassyass, where did you ever find the picture? Laughing as I type, thank you! I'm keeping fingers crossed for your poor ankle and your hubby's surgery - stress is doubled these days, isn't it. I completely feel you on this matter.
I am in no mood to celebrate any holiday, especially Christmas, but I am powering through it for my family. I am hobbling about with my swollen and purple sprained ankle, and my hubby goes in for surgery next Tuesday. I hope that you can get past this humdrum period as I wish so for myself as well. As for your slippers, I love your name for them. Cute. Slippers have been my footwear of choice this past week since I cannot get my fat foot into a normal shoe. I am bringing sexy back...

Pat, Oh my I'm not sure what to say! I want you to have a good day but I know it's hard when we are all supposed to stay inside. I was putting some decorations on the tree and a crime scene showed up on the news feed. The only thing I could think to myself was just to ignore it because I want to be in a good mood when I'm decorating the tree. I'm not sure that should have been my response to a crime but this is all they show on the news. They showed a lot of police cars and said there was a large police presence in the area and I just didn't want to hear about it. Obviously, I have run amok!
