Well I always keep 
bottles and recycle them, It is a bit confusing at times.
Some folk just seem to throw a lot of stuff together.

I've always recycled as much as possible but a few years ago our county said they only wanted certain things in the recycle bins. We all had to learn a new way to recycle. It was hard at first but now we figured out what we are supposed to do. They only want plastic, cans, and cardboard packaging. From what I've been told other countries are no longer accepting a lot of different recycling materials. I'm not sure where it all goes now. It may go to recycle plants here in the states. It's anyone's guess.
