I used to always make at least one brand new "dish" to serve along with multiple traditional foods. That was fun.

I love traditional Thanksgiving dinner.  My children dislike sweet potatoes.

Actually I have to admit that my most favorite bird to eat is a true farm bred open range Chicken. They grow large and plum and as well as grains they forage for worms, spiders grasses and even the odd mouse. All of which makes for a happy healthy bird with heaps of flavor

I suppose once it was a treat to have a turkey. Perhaps as well tastes change.
