Pat, when my daughter was dating her husband I would make him tea every time he came over to the house. This went on for five years. Then after they got married I still made him tea for years. Then one day he said I do believe I like coffee more than I like tea. I laughed till I cried. Now he only drinks coffee. I had no idea!

Speaking of pumpkin pie, I used to bake them every year for our
holiday celebrations. I thought the kids loved and expected them as a key part of the feast. And then a couple years ago the subject came up in conversation and I found out they never really liked pumpkin pie. I couldn't help it, I laughed so hard. These days it's pecan pie for all.
