That happened to me once years ago after I had a major accident while using a treadmill. It still bothers me once in a blue moon but nothing like it did for a while.

C_C_T, Oh my, I was wondering if it was gout. I know a few men that suffer from it and they say it's very painful. I'm sorry it's been acting up and causing you so much pain.

Yes Kabu I have been battling with it for ages . It needed anesthetizing but the lady who worked on it was not qualified and I was beginning to learn new swear words.

I had an ingrown toenail once when I was much younger, and eventually
had to have the nail removed. Thank heavens it grew back. I've never had anything so painful, incuding childbirth. You have my sympathy on this one.
