My mom had them, my sister has them, and my daughter suffer so badly she's now seeing a neurologist and gets Botox for them. My brother and I get ocular migraines, which are a bit different. I can't take candles burning. Some scents are almost nauseating. And fragrance will "turn" on me, unless it's all natural, such as those used in French parfum. No synthetic scents, period. Good post.

Very interesting.   Though I love the odor of some perfumes on other people, I have never been able to wear it myself because as it stays with me I get very bad headaches that lead to nausea.

My aunt suffers from migraines and has to lie down without any noise or light until it passes.

Re: Thank you. I cannot believe that my granddaughter suffers from them.

She is only ten.

I'm thankful I have never had a migraine. So many triggers to them. It's important to know.
