Re:

Sea Gypsy, we grew up eating apple butter so I think that is why I like it so much.  I've never made it so we shall see if it turns out good.  Thank you so much for your comment.

Re:

Annicita, thank you so much for your comment.  I do hope I find a good quality of apples.  This will be my first time making apple butter.

I have not been in a grocery store since March or maybe February. It would be nice. Hope you find some great apples and the idea of using your crockpot for the recipe is fantastic. My mom told me her mom used to make apple butter. We never had it growing up. I've tasted it, but it's not exactly to my taste.

I hope you find some nice delicious apples of whatever variety you want to use.

I forgot it is Friday 13th...Not to worry I wasn't going to any party anyway. Have a lovely rest of your day.

Friday the 13th

Sounds to me like you really had a chance to "celebrate" Friday the 13th.

Hopefully, you'll find your apples tomorrow, then.

I wish you a wonderful day.

Re: At the community center we have electronic devices that scan

Pat, when I went to do my yearly blood tests at the medical center there was a lady at a desk when you first enter and she did take my temperature with an electronic device and put my name on a sign-in sheet.  When I went to the dentist they did the same thing.

At the community center we have electronic devices that scan

the temp of every person who enters, and nobody with a temp above 99 degrees is permitted - this is I think a CDC rule. At various establishments here they have a greeter at the door with a temp gauge and in some cases there's a screening form you have to sign before entering. Guess we have to allow a few minutes extra when we run errands, just to keep everybody safe.
