Go to Life in the fast lane--where's the on ramp?Add a commentGo to TUESDAY AT THE CENTER

I was all business reading this all the way through until I got down to the part about you crocheting pink and blue baby caps and then I broke out into a chuckle and a big grin.  I can just see a brand new baby decked out in a cap crocheted by Pat.  I love it.

Sounds like folks want to get back to normal at the Center. It’s good there is some activity now and it’s always good to hear about the happenings there. Personally, I had a bit of difficulty being with child, like trying to drive to work while barfing on a seven-lane freeway interchange in L.A. or on the sidewalk in Disneyland in front of the outdoor chicken restaurant. That poor woman...

Lovely post. I hated being pregnant. I threw up the day after conception for the whole 9 months both times but had healthy boy babies regardless.

Happy news, it is nice to read of something normal. It is really great how folk rally round at times like this. A good idea with the bonnet.

Good morning?

I don't know what time it is at your place right now. But still, let's call it morning. That'd make the subject line fit perfectly.

Even without knowing her, I also hope the Virus has left, when she's going to give birth to her child.

Have a wonderful day. And stay safe.

That is a smart girl to allow her child to choose and not be branded.

Your work at the center reminds me of my own mother who works in a long term care facility in Nevada. The multi-colored hat will be the perfect gift for the little munchkin. You obviously are surrounded by a great group of people from all walks of life. Fun.

Good Morning

Pat, I love reading about the center.  I found it interesting that everybody has a different agenda for the day.  My personal favorite was the lady that likes to go to Dollar General. We have several in our suburbs and sometimes I like to check them out and see what's new in the store.  I do think Family Dollar is my favorite.  I like your idea of making a hat that works for a baby girl or boy.  I hope you have a good day!  It's chilly here this morning!
