- Go to Duck!
I have never and would never eat duck.
I feed them, so eating them would probably send me into therapy. I am an avid bird watcher. I much prefer seafood over meat.

Re: Re: Goldiec,
I will have to try duck. I like dark-meat. Your broth sounds delicious.

Re: Goldiec,
Duck is all dark-meat, a bit gamey to some tastes, but I have always really liked it! It is also one of the fattier meats. Peking Duck is served with wonderfully crispy skin, and the skin has a significant layer of fat under it--maybe as much as 1/16th inch!
I sometimes start with a broth and add a couple of pot-stickers to it, or a few shu-mai--smaller dumplings--to make it like wonton soup. Adding a dash of ginger to things also adds to the Chinese flavor.

I've never had duck but it does sound delicious. My favorite soup is wonton soup
. I could eat a quart of it all by myself. Your meal sounds delicious and economical when you divide it into a few meals.
