Re:

C_C_T, thank you so much for the comment.  I'm busy making plans for Thanksgiving and I'm really not sure what's going to happen because of our high numbers of COVID.  The Governor always talks on Tuesdays and Thursdays so maybe we will learn something this week.  Last week was all about the election.  I'm anxious to put that behind us.

FSI, thank you so much for your comment!  If you get a chance watch the first season of Lost.  I think you will really like it.  We love it!

Re: I am not cooking the turkey this year. I am making a spiral ham.

Sassy, I know Jessica and Anthony love to host the holidays.  You know I love seeing the pictures after your get-togethers. Do they make traditional turkey or maybe a deep-fried turkey?

Re: I am with you, turkey sandwiches are my favorite.

Sassy, I always favor turkey sandwiches over brisket.  I know you would love Mission BBQ.  Roy said when he was looking at the menu he saw meatloaf.  I can't imagine how they make it but we are ordering that next time. Thank you so much for your comment and I hope you have a good day!

We shall go for turkey breast as I don't think it will be wise here at the moment to plan anything. Keep up the good work.

With so much COVID downtime,Lostsounds like it would be a great show to check out. I've heard nothing but good things about it.

I am not cooking the turkey this year. I am making a spiral ham.

Jessica and Anthony are doing the turkey. We will all bring something to the table.

I am with you, turkey sandwiches are my favorite.

John would have gone with the brisket. That sounds like my kind of place.

Re: I loved the spirit of this post - optimism and gratitude makes

Pat, Thank you so much for your kind words!  I really appreciate it. Life can be so hard. I think our posts have the power to lift our friends up when they are having a hard day. That is what I call priceless. I still think of your pioneer story and how much I loved it.

Re:

Kabu, Thank you so much for the comment. I've never made two turkeys at once so this is going to be a first for me. I do have a big cooker so I won't have to worry about fitting them both in the cooker. There will be room for both of them. I will be glad when this year is over too!  It's been a hard year for everyone.

I think it is much easier to cook two smaller turkeys than one of those huge ones. The year is speeding towards its end. Actually this is one year I don't mind how quickly it goes by.
