Re:
Ciel, I love the idea of two different stuffings! When we were growing up we loved the drumsticks just like you. Thank you so much for your comment.

Two turkeys... twice the drumsticks! When we were young, so many years ago, we kids liked drumsticks! Also, you can fill two with different kinds of stuffings.

Pat, thank you so much for the comment. Roy was just looking at a sale from Giant Eagle with the turkey dinner. It does look easy.

Re:
Anib, thank you so much for the kind words. I'm so glad you like the way I present my posts. I've always written exactly as I talk. I've taken some criticism over the years for it but it's always worked out for the best. I write children's stories and I figure since they are my stories I can write them the way I like. I write fantasy and the sky is the limit with my work.

Re:
Annicita, thank you so much for the comment. I have a big oven and I really think I'm going to do 2 smaller turkeys. I think they will turn out well.

I'm thinking of getting a turkey dinner prepared by the supermarket's
deli - don't have the energy to prep and watch over the cooking of a complex meal, and there'd only be me and maybe my sons - they'd be taking home most of the leftovers. As for the yard work - today's going to be perfect for that, and I'm planning to get out there for a couple bags full... Stay safe.

Re:
Sea Gypsy, Thank you so much for your comment. I think I'm leaning toward two smaller turkeys. I did not like the big turkey last year. I wonder if it was an old turkey? My mask makes my face itch but I still wear it. I'm afraid not to wear it. I hope you have a wonderful day! Stay safe

Goldiec, how I like your conversational tone of writing. Very informal and very good. I'm here at the university wearing a mask but usually the place I sit is not frequented much. Yes, we have to live with it, good or bad, and if possible make 'friends' with it?

They take longer to cook. Maybe better to do 2 if you have enough room in your oven.

We all seems to have a fatigue from all that is going on right now, and has been going on. It's all tiring. I like the idea of two turkeys. When I used to host Thanksgiving I always had to main courses; a turkey and a roast or a turkey and a ham, usually. Good luck with it. Here we have had mask mandates for a long time. My face breaks out from the paper one so I just got some cloth ones. Do get some rest.
