Re: We had chili too. My corn bread was good even though it broke in half.

Sassy, I had to smile when I heard about your cornbread and flipping it out of the pan.  I just take mine out of the oven and everyone cuts a piece right out of the cast iron pan.  What can I say! haha I figured your cornbread would still be moist.  It's in the '30s here this morning.

Re:

Kabu, thank you so much for your comment.  Today is a big day for our country.  I'm not sure how things will turn out but what I will say is that when it's all said and done I hope we can all live in peace. I'm going to tell Roy what you said about the leaves.  When he left for work today he was talking about the leaves.  What can I say? I hope you have a good day.  I was listening to our weather this morning and they were talking about Canada.  I thought of you!

Re: Goldiec

BC-A, it's really chilly here this morning!  It's in the '30s but we are toasty warm in the house.  Today is election day and I wonder what surprises it will bring?  I hope you have a good day.

We had chili too. My corn bread was good even though it broke in half.

Lol, I told you about that yesterday. I guess that I didn't grease the pan enough, so when I flipped the cornbread, it broke in half. Luckily, it was moist and good anyway. It was cold here last night too, but we had to go out and get groceries. I pray that today is a safe one at the polls.

praying for you all for tomorrow...i do hope that you get a good sleep. Tell Roy that beetles and things that are good for the garden may be under those leaves and the leaves rot their nutrients into the soil over Winter so it is OK to leave it now until the Spring.
