Re: Re: Re: You're welcome. You are right, it is a theme for sure.
Sassy, I think you are right and theme is a good word to describe the 100 year pandemics.

Re: Re: I am with you Pat_B.
Sassy, just like you I really don't want to fall and get hurt. I'm the one that usually takes care of everyone so if I'm hurt I'm not sure what would happen.

Re: It would not upset me if we don't get major snowstorms here.
Pat, I think when there is ice on the ground staying home is best for everyone. It's better to be warm and safe than sorry. Many people have gotten badly hurt in a winter storm. Thank you so much for the comment!

Re: I am with you Pat_B.
As I get older the snow scares me. A broken hip is no small thing. I know of two people who passed not long after breaking their hip.

Re:
FSI, I was thinking about your winters and wondering if you are expecting heavy snowfall this year? In your line of work that would be a very good thing. Thank you so much for the comment.

Re: We have had a major pandemic every hundred years. History repeating itself.
Sassy, I do think history repeats itself. These plagues are awful. So many have died from these outbreaks. Thank you so much for the comment!

It would not upset me if we don't get major snowstorms here.
I don't leave the house if there's ice underfoot, thinking it's better to be isolated and ambulatory than to end up in a nursing home because of a broken hip.

Our winters have been very weak recently on the snow front. From a car wash perspective, I do hope that changes.

We have had a major pandemic every hundred years. History repeating itself.
It does make you wonder about the parallel event for each century. 1620...the Bubonic Plague aka Black Death, 1720...Bubonic Plague, 1820...Cholera Outbreak, 1920, and now, 2020.
