I would introduce more characters with a play on their name like Al Dente.

I'm thinking this could be a case of love at first sight. He will keep his eye on the prize and try everything he can to become closer. He lets you know that he knows how to fix things around the house so that you will call upon him if something breaks. He very nonchalantly gives you his number. I see romance in the not too distant future.

** He offers to cook a real Italian restuarant standard meal. When you arrive dressed pretty your hair looking nice and a touch of make-up....the name on his door Bell is not Al anything...but the food is delicious. You did hesitate at the door but remembering his cheeky smile you push the bell anyway.

He lied, partially. He has retired from restaurant business but is still driving the mafia staff car.

I would like to hear how the pasta dinner turned out for you.
As for the funny guy, is he a possible new beau? The turmeric has been a wonder seasoning for me. I roast a cauliflower that has been coated with a blend of olive oil, turmeric, garlic powder, and a few red pepper flakes. It is supposed to eliminate cancerous cells in the colon. Besides that it tastes really good.
