I have never thought of which way rivers flow I suppose it has to be downhill somewhat.

It felt all wrong to me from Australia when Wiley and I travelled across Canada to the West coast. At a certain place a sign said " All rivers from here, across to the West Coat West travel North!!"" Like you if felt Ass backwards.

There is lots of history in our area, but your area has just as much. The original colonies needed a proverbial fly on the wall to do some talking.

I found it fascinating that Lewis & Clark boated past our little borough while traveling the Monongahela River.

A whole lot of rives go through Pittsburgh. Each one has such a great story.

Sassy, I found this very interesting and I must say the river is beautiful.  I wonder what makes the river flow in a different direction?  This is a great piece of history.  Thank you for sharing it.
