Re: We had 86 degrees yesterday, and it stayed mild overnight.
Pat, I have to say 86 is warm for a fall day. Our high today was 75 but by evening it's going to be much colder. I think our warm spell is over. Did you miss Kaylee when she went home? She sounds like such a nice dog. I love your idea of putting the snow shovel in it's winter spot on the front porch. This sounds like what I would do. The wind is picking up which means more leaves will be falling on the ground. Roy put my new wind chime in the garage for the winter. I really enjoyed hearing it when we went outside. Thank you so much for your comment.

Re:
C_C_T, we used to have a Border collie and she was the best. She was such a smart dog. She loved people but not other dogs. That's just the way she was. Thanks for the comment.

FSI, I really wish they would dial it down. I think we've had enough doom and gloom to last for a lifetime. Thank you so much for your comment.

Re: They are two peas in a pod.
Sassy, thanks so much for the comment. We did get cheese and as soon as we got home Roy was eating it right out of the pack. I'm surprised that John dips his cheese in Dijon mustard. I've never tried it.

Re:
Taps, the day started out warm and now we are going to dip down to cold temps. I really think this is the kind of weather that makes people sick. Thank you so much for the comment. Stay warm

Did not want to sound Bossy, sometimes one can explain better when not writing.

We had 86 degrees yesterday, and it stayed mild overnight.
At 5:00 or so when I let Kaylee out to track down squirrels the stars were out, it was 60 degrees. Now, just approaching noon, it's 51 degrees and clouds are gathering. So much for the October warm spell. My son came to pick up Kaylee an hour or so ago, and reminisced about the time we had snow for Halloween when he was a kid. I think, as a charm against the snow, I'll just bring the snow shovel from the garage and put it in its winter spot on the front porch.

The media sure knows how to panic people. I wonder how different people's emotions would be if they dialed it down.

They are two peas in a pod.
John loves to munch on cheese too. He cuts off chunks of the block of cheddar then squirts a bit of Dijon mustard on to the cheese slice. Have fun shopping, and be safe!

Yes it is good to write, I have not found stories have much appeal on here probably now because there are so many other worries to contend with. If you do write one try and post the followng episode as soon as possible. Good luck.

Our weather here in Kansas City bounces around a lot. Yesterday it was 80+ and so far today is 38 heading for 40 something. That kind of messing around makes my sinuses and joints hurt.
