Why not have the two visitors paint his room? It would be much cheaper and less time consuming. Just a thought.

Yes I expect it is a bit sad working in Ribcage's room, at least you did all you could. I think you need a stronger mop. A liitle at a time perhaps. Nice to have little gifts.

That sounds like a great a gift hamper...no wonder Phil was spoilt for choice.

Sometimes now I too wish for a magical broom 😅 or even better Aladdin's Genie....

I'm with Pat on this... Save your knees and your labor, and get it done in a day!  I can't imagine having to do this on your own, 6 months is not long enough to disperse the heartache of loss. I send you lots of Light and Love!

Re: Go Chiefs! I wonder if it might be a good idea to call Stanley Steemer

It is a very good idea.  I have not been thinking clearly but it has been six months now and it is time to clean out his room and make it suitable for company (if and when we can have company again).

Re: Lol, I enjoyed the funny video.

I used to always do my kitchen and bathroom floor on my knees, but that time is past for me.  My knees hurt too badly when I am on them, and it is too iffy whether or not I am going to be able to get back up.  I liked Pat's suggestion that I call Stanley Steemer.  I will do that as soon as I spend a day with 1-800-GOT-JUNK and get rid of the old furniture he was so attached too.

Lol, I enjoyed the funny video.

As for those Mr. Clean erasers, they are amazing! I use them on the shower walls. I am not a fan of a mop though. I get down on my hands and knees and hand wash my floor tile although the mop would be much easier, they are terrible at getting into corners. Simple Green works magic on smoke-damaged walls. Wear gloves though, it is potent, but it easily does the job and leaves a nice scent.

or another professional cleaning company to help clean up the smoke damage - they could be in and out in a day, unless it's a comfort to you to do it yourself. Those snacks sound yummy...Hugs.

Oh my goodness!  I loved the video!  Receiving gifts of food is awesome!  The Cleveland Brown's were doing really good but last Sunday they lost big time to Pittsburg.  I hope they do better in the next game.  I hope you like your new mop when you get it.  I think maybe spic-n-span would clean the smoke-stained walls. Maybe you could find someone to do the walls for you because that's a lot of work. I hope you have a good day!  It's raining here.
