Re: Our numbers have spiked too. It is a scary situation.

Sassy, Good Morning!  They just had a news update on Fox 8 and said our hospital admissions are rising from the COVID. If the hospitals fill up I'm not sure what the plan is.  I absolutely love fall with all the beautiful colors.  Thank you so much for the comment!

FSI, Good Morning!  We will all be at home this year!  I do feel for the little ones but I think it's better to be safe than sorry.  The year 2020 is the strangest year ever!  Thank you so much for the comment.

Pat, Good Morning!  I think you are right and this Halloween is going to be terrifying if anyone dares to venture out among the living. If all the candy does go on sale parents can stock up for special treats for the kids. I will definitely buy some for my grandkids when they come over.  Thank you so much for the comment.

Our numbers have spiked too. It is a scary situation.

As for those fall colors, I love the yellow leaves on the trees. So pretty!

I myself have no plans to participate in Halloween this year. To me, it would be a hassle. Someone would end up doing something I'm uncomfortable with and someone else would feel I am not doing enough.

Halloween parties it turns out are terrifying in their possibilities this

year. At an event were masks are part of the celebration, going without one would be the most frightening. I'm thinking this entire year has been a nasty trick and there's no treat in sight.  I've noticed giant cases of treats stacked in the aisles of the grocery stores and Walmart, and not many shoppers have bags of candy in their carts. There may be a big sale coming up.

C_C_T, Good Morning!  Thank you so much for the comment. It's true!  We really do have to be careful.

Re:

Sea Gypsy, I just don't know what is going on.  We may never know the whole truth.

Los Angeles County was getting numbers like that and it was just one county. I hope that things get better there. I do know - and I've written this before - that my SIL knows two people who went to get tested at CVS quite a while back. The drive-up line was long and they decided not to wait 2 hours so they went to a private lab and paid to be tested. A while later they got a letter from CVS saying they were positive for COVID. They never even took the test. The lab they went to showed them negative. Well, mistakes can happen, I guess.
