BC_A, Subs are so good! I was thankful I didn't have to cook yesterday. Sassy and her family make their own subs and they sound delicious!

Pat, I never did shop on Black Friday. I'm like you and I never liked the big crowds. The deals were good but I let them pass. When my kids were in school I worked every Black Friday. I can remember one time I was working close to the mall and when I looked out the window by my desk I could see cars lined up bumper to bumper going toward the mall. I was glad I was sitting at my desk. Since that time the mall was torn down and there is an Amazon center there now. I did love to walk through the mall and look at the Christmas decorations during the holidays.

I hope families get to celebrate together at Christmas - I understand
the shopping season has already started and they're moving Black Friday to some day in October - maybe this week already. I personally hate mobs especially at stores, so I never shop on Black Friday or on the actual holidays. I believe this year I'll send a crocheted hat to the grandkids and greats, along with gift cards and not try to figure out what the newest coolest toy or tee shirt might be.
